I've spent more than twenty years working in that space.
In 2003 my team and I won our class in the Transatlantic Cape to Rio Ocean Race after twenty days at sea. Three years later we returned with a yacht I had developed and built, won the race overall in sixteen days and set the course record for yachts under 40 feet.
What that race taught me had very little to do with sailing.
It taught me what happens when a well prepared plan meets reality. Conditions change. Problems appear without warning. Decisions have to be made with imperfect information, and the strength of the team becomes more important than the quality of the original plan.
I've found exactly the same to be true in every ambitious engineering project I've worked on since.

A yacht has one job: survive the conditions it's built for. A company has to survive years of conditions nobody planned for.
What started as a small workshop to prove the concept was never a straight path. It was a journey shaped by setbacks, uncertainty, financial pressure and moments of real doubt.
Early mistakes, constant experimentation and the need to keep moving forward built a team that learned to communicate, adapt and solve problems together.
Over time, the startup evolved into a structured production environment built on consistency, teamwork and shared commitment.
Success came through persistence, not ease. And what began as an ambitious idea became an internationally recognised yacht brand.
More than 650 yachts were built and launched worldwide. Most remain active today, continuing to sail, race and win across multiple continents. Their longevity reflects the quality of their design, construction and purpose.
The company received international recognition including the Best Boat Award (USA), design awards, and industry honours for logistics and supply chain excellence.
