I've sat across the table from founders holding exactly that, a drawing in ballpoint pen on the back of a napkin, the whole idea still perfectly clear in their head and nowhere else. I know the feeling from the other side of the table too, a napkin, a pen, a sketch, more than once in my own life. The vision is rarely the problem. What stops it there is the gap between knowing what something needs to do and actually building the thing that does it, a gap that only closes once someone has already crossed it themselves.

I have built companies from a small workshop to international scale, raced oceans and navigated the kind of setbacks that do not resolve quickly. That experience is what I bring to the founders and organisations I work with through Transat.

I've studied plenty of problems from a distance too, but this isn't that. This is carrying it, on the ground, with you, until the gap closes.
